Your whole world can change in a single moment.

A reckless moment where you let go of your inhibitions and you lose control. I pride myself on never losing control, but somehow, I did with her. I let my desire overtake me, and I took a bite of that forbidden fruit that stood in front of me in nothing but a nightie. I fucked my best friend’s little sister, and I regretted it the moment I felt her wrapped around me. Not because it felt bad. No, because, since that moment, nothing has ever felt so right…

My name is Tristan Knight and I'm not your average New York millionaire. In fact, there's nothing average about me. I was born in the projects, and I lived there up until the day I was adopted. My past is a distant memory of fuck-ups and bad luck.

The only thing that kept me from ending up like everyone else on the street was the StoneHaven family. When I met them, I was determined to hate them all. They represented everything I didn't have. Power. Wealth. Control.

At least, that's what I used to think.

Now, as time goes on, I find myself falling in love with their shattered lives... falling in love with the one thing I can't have. Her. Emily StoneHaven.

The summary of this book did not prepare me for the actual story. I honestly believe the author was confused at what type of story line to use so instead of choosing one she smashed a bunch of ideas together to make this ridiculous story.
I never out right dis a book. But jeez. I honestly made myself finish hoping that the story would get better.
The story seemed to be about young love....Wrong! It was a 17 year old guy and a twelve year old girl with a crush on him. 4 years go by ,during which time they are not in contact, and HE takes her virginity on the steps of her home after she is caught watching him go down on another girl. Weird! It gets worse....He doesn't even finish the job. The moment he realized she was a virgin he pulls out and takes her for a bath.
Did I mention his mom was the maid having an affair with the main characters father....
More time apart passes and he is kind of into kink. The way the author has Tristan uses the names "pet" and "little one" are out of place and seem awkward. I love reading BDSM by the way
. This was NOT BDSM
There is also a gay BFF and a crazy slutty attention seeking BFF.
All in all. This was bad. To make matters worse after purchasing this boxed set I get to the end only to learn that it's a cliff hanger......

Plot just didn't come together but was well written and and some memorable characters. The brother Nicholas was interesting even though he was a secondary character.
I couldn't put this book down, it kept me up all night until I finished it. This series is fantastic! The only thing is that I need more!!!
Loved the book. I wish there was more detail at the books ending. I look forward to more in the series.
Omg loved this story. I thought I loved Nicholas but I think Tristan does it foe me. Great story line and I so love all the characters. A must read.
I stumbled upon this boxed set by accident while looking for something new to read. I was instantly hooked!!! I totally recommend as not only this Millionaires Row series great, but it flows so easy. I accidentally read the boxed sets out of order, but it still worked! 5 stars for sure
Not only do i have the singles of the books but was worth the three pack as well. She is as great author. have read all her books One of my top five author.
I really was looking forward to this series. I began reading with excitement. Ms. Booke's writing is pretty good, even if the editing isn't. Found a glaring mistake in the last sentence of the first paragraph.

Ignored it. Wanted to keep reading. But as I did, something started happening.

I had to keep stopping and wondering if I was missing pages. Whole scenes, perhaps. I'd stop and go back. But, no. Ms. Booke decided to write a convenient book of abbreviations. She doesn't bother to spend a few minutes explaining anything or using any transitional phrases or words to indicate something has changed.

************MANY SPOILERS **************************
Here's what you get So many inconsistencies

The following are examples from the story.

Emily and Tristan are setting up for a "scene" at a BDSM club he frequents.

"Take off your shirt." Emily does. Tristan fastens her to the cross. "I'm going to give you thirteen lashes on your back, butt, and thighs." He does. How does he lash her butt? It's she naked? She only took off her shirt.

After he untied her from the cross, he tells her to "Come with me." Where do they go? It never says. For all we know, they're still standing on the stage. He takes off his vest, puts on a tee shirt. She's standing there topless. He finally grabs a towel and hands it to her. Are they still on the stage? Never tells us. Private room? What?

He's sitting with her. She says she's got to leave. How does she get away from him? He's right next to her. He knows the club. She doesn't. ????

A week later he sends her a painting. Ceci hands Emily the card.
"Do you want me to read it to you?" Ceci asks, walking to the kitchen.
"No," I snatch the card from her hand.
That's some long stretch and snatch, huh?

The card starts with a poem from Byron. It talks about her eyes and how he sees them. It's signed T.K. Her thought? "There's only one man with those initials. Tristan Knight." No?! Really?

Wait, it gets better. Her next thought? "Why did he wait four years to contact me?" What? YOU ran into HIM at the BDSM club!!!

There are dozens of these problems throughout the 44% I read.

Here are some more, in no particular order

1. Tristan's mom and Stefan? Sends her away to protect HER? Never tried to find them? Loves her?
2. Tristan telling Emily, Nicholas, and Alexander that their father lied. No one asks dad about it? It's never mentioned again?
3. Alexander's coma. WTF?
4. The staircase with Tristan and Emily. Give her a bath and leave? Really?
5. Drop off mom at rehab? Oh, too bad. She died. Can you say convenient?

And the only ones who EVER show any reaction are Ceci and Tristan. No one else. Questions are asked, no one answers. Scenes begin, ended.

It feels as if I've fallen into an episode of the Twilight Zone.

I really, really wanted to like this book. 2 stars for actually getting me to 44%.

Sigh.
